• Email address — used to create and authenticate your account securely.
• Display name / username — chosen by you during account registration.
• Inventory data — item names, quantities, prices, categories, and notes you enter.
• Device information — basic device data collected automatically by Firebase for security and performance.

• To authenticate you securely and maintain your session.
• To store and sync your inventory data across devices in real time.
• To deliver optional low-stock and expiration notifications you configure.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized access via Firebase App Check.

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore). Each user's data is fully isolated and accessible only by the authenticated account owner. We use Firebase App Check with Play Integrity to ensure only legitimate instances of StockVault can access our backend. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your inventory data is entirely private to your account. Firebase services are provided by Google LLC and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app via Settings → Delete Account. This action immediately and irreversibly removes all your data from our servers.

StockVault is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of StockVault after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
